Every child is more than a body and a mind. koSha is the framework through which Sharada Prabha nurtures the whole child, layer by layer, in a natural, inspirational, cultural and spiritual environment.
Five Sheaths, One Child
koSha means “sheath”. We are all born with one body but five sheaths, from the grossest to the subtlest: physical, vital, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.
Without the unfoldment of every layer, a child’s potential is wasted. And this potential is not only about skills, but also about the inner unfoldment of one’s being.

Based on the ancient sacred texts of India, koSha provides the ideal environment for the holistic development of each child. The result is not only multi-dimensional children, but conscious children who can find many creative solutions to any problem in life.
How Each Layer Grows
Physical: through outdoor games and Ayurveda
Vital: through yoga and meditation
Emotional: through arts and nature play
Intellectual: through storytelling
Spiritual: through right understanding of all the practices
The koSha framework helps each child unfold and experience the freedom to blossom into their highest potential. The best way to understand it is to experience it, which is why we invite children to our weekend camps.
