At Sharada Prabha, children learn where food comes from. Organic farming brings them closer to the soil, the seasons and the people who grow what we eat, right in the lap of nature.

From Soil to Plate

Organic farming means growing food without synthetic chemical fertilisers and pesticides. At Sharada Prabha, it’s also a way of encouraging home-grown food and a simple understanding of how a meal begins.

A child who knows how a seed becomes a meal looks at food differently. They waste less, appreciate more and begin to feel connected to the land.

Organic farming connects naturally with our cooking and sugar-free baking activities, where children learn home cooking, planning, precision and patience. Together, they turn “what’s for lunch?” into a lesson in effort and gratitude.

What Children Gain

Children develop respect for farmers and a real connection with the land. Alongside nature play, they learn to value natural resources and to be gentle with the world around them.

It’s also a quiet lesson in patience. Plants grow in their own time, much like children do.

Our campus in Magod, Valsad, is surrounded by greenery, which makes it a natural classroom. If you’d like to see where learning and nature meet, we’d love to welcome you.
